This semi-automatic plant is an ideal system for semi-automatic electroplating setup. Here the components to be processed are hung on conductive hooks system which move at a configurable conveyor speed. The conveyor can be set based on the process timings.
The conveyor chain and supporting system are made from stainless steel to restrict corrosion for prolonged life and the distance between anodes and cathodes (components) is always constant. Material of construction of tank is usually polypropylene and that of anode basket is Titanium. A precise and controlled current is provided on the copper track on which these copper hooks move. An added advantage of these type of plants is that the Loading and Unloading of the components are at the same point.
A centralized control panel is employed to displays conveyor speed with an installed VFD, current and temperatures of various electrolytes.

The plating and transfer of all components is simultaneous. The plant has an indexed fixed cycle time except for long components which travel submerged within the tank. DC current is passed in the electrolytic process with the help of a copper strip provided on tanks & a copper current collector provided on each work-arm.
