Growel’s CED (Cathodic Electro-Deposition) Plants are designed for high-quality, uniform coating of metal components using the cathodic electro-deposition method. This process ensures excellent corrosion resistance, paint adhesion, and surface finish, making it ideal for protective coatings on automotive, industrial, and consumer parts.
CED plants combine robust tank construction, corrosion-resistant materials, and automated control of voltage, current, and immersion time. Growel’s systems are engineered for precision, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability, meeting international quality and safety standards.
The CED Coating Plant—also known as Cathodic Electro Deposition or E-Coating Plant—is one of Growel Engineering’s flagship surface finishing solutions, designed to deliver uniform, corrosion-resistant, and high-adherence coatings on complex metallic components.
CED coating is a water-based, environment-friendly paint deposition process where charged paint particles are attracted and deposited onto the surface of a conductive workpiece using an electric field. The processes provide exceptional coverage, even in recessed or intricate areas, making it the preferred choice for automotive body parts, appliances, hardware, and industrial components requiring long-term corrosion protection and paint adhesion.

Chromating, also known as chromate conversion coating, is a crucial surface treatment process used to enhance the corrosion resistance, paint adhesion, and electrical conductivity of metal surfaces. It is commonly applied on aluminum, zinc, cadmium, copper, magnesium, and their alloys. The process forms a thin, protective film of complex chromium compounds that acts as a passive barrier against oxidation and corrosion.
Growel Engineering, with decades of expertise in metal finishing and surface treatment automation, offers fully integrated chromating systems designed for precision, safety, and environmental compliance. These systems deliver consistent coating quality, superior corrosion protection, and reduced operational costs through advanced control of bath chemistry, temperature, and process duration.
Growel’s chromating solutions are widely used across aerospace, automotive, electrical, electronics, defense, and architectural industries, meeting global quality standards such as MIL-DTL-5541, RoHS, and REACH.
